Associate - Events & GTM Strategy
Transform 800,000 hectares of greenhouses into fully-autonomous food production sites
At eternal.ag, we're building the future of sustainable food production. Our mission is to convert the world's existing greenhouses into fully automated facilities that can produce fresh food year-round - addressing the critical need to double food production by 2050 while facing severe labor shortages, water scarcity, and climate challenges.
Your Role
We are hiring an Associate for Events & Go-To-Market Strategy to turn trade fairs and conferences into qualified customer conversations. Events are where growers see our robots for the first time.
Your job is to plan them well, capture every lead, and use the data to sharpen where and how we sell.
You will be based at our Cologne HQ and will work closely with the Business Development and PR & Branding teams. The best part? You will run eternal.ag's presence at the leading horticulture trade fairs and see your analysis shape our go-to-market. The hardest part? Event deadlines are fixed, and logistics, people and robots all have to arrive at the same booth on the same morning.
What you'll do
Plan and run our events
Own the event calendar end to end: budget, booth concept, robot logistics, staffing, partner coordination and follow-up, for trade fairs such as Fruit Logistica and GreenTech.
Turn leads into pipeline
Set up lead capture at every event, qualify and enrich leads, hand them to Business Development in our CRM, and track conversion afterwards.
Analyse leads and markets
Analyse lead quality by region, crop and greenhouse size, size target markets, so we continue to invest in the right regions and events.
Shape go-to-market strategy
Support the founders and Business Development with market entry plans, segmentation and positioning for new countries.
Optimise how we work
Build repeatable playbooks, checklists and templates for events and lead handling, and measure cost per qualified lead.
Work closely with Branding and Business Development
Align event messaging, material and booth content with PR & Branding, and agree lead criteria and follow-up with Business Development.
Who you Are
Grower-focused: you want to know what a grower needs before you pitch.
Structured and fast: you turn a fixed deadline into a plan and deliver it.
Analytical: you reason from data and first principles, not from habit.
A team player across Branding, Business Development and Operations.
Comfortable with change and context-switching.
Core requirements
1 to 3 years in event management, marketing, business development, consulting or a start-up.
Proven experience planning B2B trade fairs or conferences, including budgets and suppliers.
Strong analytical skills; confident in Excel or Google Sheets and with CRM data.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
Willingness to travel to events across Europe, and occasionally further.
Bonus points if you have
Experience in agritech, horticulture, robotics or industrial B2B.
Experience with CRM tools such as Close, HubSpot or Salesforce.
German and/or Dutch language skills.
Background in business, economics or a related degree.
What We Offer
Real ownership: You will own our event programme and the go-to-market insights that come out of it.
Direct founder exposure: Work with the founders and leadership on market and expansion decisions.
Cross-disciplinary exposure: Work directly with Branding, Business Development, Operations and Engineering.
Global team: Collaborate closely across our Cologne HQ and Bengaluru office with high autonomy and rapid execution loops.
Mission at scale: Help build resilient, autonomous food production infrastructure to make global agriculture more sustainable.
